The never ending rope!!!

Ever thought that you are in a stage in your life that is perfect? Maybe you thought “This is the place to be!” Well guess what... God has other plans, plans that are completely different from our plans and that is the topic I want to discuss today in my first blog ever.

So here I am thinking I can only trust myself and rely on myself. I was (well I WAS) a guy who never asked for help from anyone when doing something, INCLUDING GOD ( BIG MISTAKE ). Life was great in the worlds eyes, but in Gods eyes it was far from it. So get ready to find out how God shook me so viciously I have no choice but to ask for help from Him.

It was a rainy night and the objective was the following: Get to the end of the rope blindfolded. Simple right? So there I was searching for the end. Walking, walking and walking and the rain just kept on pouring. Seconds felt like minutes and minutes like hours. At one stage I started to realize that I am walking in circles, but still I relied on MYSELF to find the end. Eventually I just could not take it and I asked for help to get to the end and when I took my blindfold off I realized I was dead last. And God said to me as clear as day that my stubbornest is the reason why I have no personal relationship with Him and my family. He told me that this stubbornest should stop, because it is busy killing me inside and spiritually. Right there I cried like a baby and realized that my life is not perfect, because I lack the one thing every person needs in life, A HELPER, SOMEONE TO COUNT ON. When I realized this I went and asked my parents for forgiveness and also to God.

God had this planned from the very beginning of my journey and He revealed it to me on His time which is the perfect time. I realized asking for help is actually the key to many things in life especially in relationships.

God will always have something in store for you to work on in your life and I want to encourage you to take on that challenge with both hands and to not be so hard headed to not ask for help, because the person helping you is God. GOD IS YOUR HELPER AND WILL NEVER DISSAPOINT YOU OR LET YOU DOWN. I challenge you to, for once in your life, ask God for help I promise you He will not let you down.
