UNITED IN CHRIST

So yeah, I’m back with yet another blog and I’m personally very excited for this blog. It was something I never really thought of and when I really sat down and talked to God about this, it was like a HUGE revelation (I know there is a lot of them). I pray that Jesus will once again talk to you more and more throughout this blog and that this will also be a revelation to all of you reading this blog.So the topic for this blog is UNITED IN CHRIST and I know, we all heard that term a lot, but let us look past the overused term and let us go deeper into what that term really means.

Why did I decide to wright about this? Let me tell you what happend. So bonding with the guys is always great and we do it in different ways especially watching movies and doing physical work together alone. As we traveled from country to country we were bonding more and more, but one thing was missing and all of us knew that. The one thing missing (which is absolutely crucial) was being united in Christ.and the best part of realising this was doing something about it as BROTHERS. So the conversation lasted for I think an hour (maybe two it was to special to remember) and we ended it of doing a prophetic act and getting closer to each other through being united in Christ. That was the thing that made all of our guys’s relationship with each other even more special. I am very thankful to be travelling with these brothers by my side through the nations this year and I know that I have made new family members for the rest of my life.

Okay so what does it really mean to be UNITED IN CHRIST? Let me tell you: What I learned is that you are always trying to be more like Jesus. It sounds impossible to be like Jesus (because it is) but see how I wrote TRYING. Then you are probably thinking: “I am a sinner and Jesus wasn’t, so how can I be more like Him if He didn’t even sin?” Let me tell you what to do:
YOU NEED TO PURSUE GOD AND LOVE GOD. Sounds simple enough, but it’s not, because you need to be involved in a lot of prayer. You can’t love God on your own, you need the Holy Spirit. So how does it work? Well, you simply pray for more love, because when you are praying for more love it will result in love which will NATURALLY cause you to pray more, which results in (guess what?) more LOVE. So what does this have to with UNITED IN CHRIST? If you pursue God and run after Him (yes I say run because I love running and it’s easy to understand) you will be freed up to SERVE, LOVE and GIVE THANKS without GUILT, WORRY or FEAR and (hold on here is the best part) when you pursue Him, you will be SATISFIED IN HIM.

With all this one word would most likely stand out more than any other word (except united in Christ, just read on haha) and that word is LOVE!!! God wants us to love Him with all our hearts, but nothing will ever compare to the love He has showed us. It is really, to be honest, incomparable the love He has for us. We all know that love and He has one name: JESUS!!! He came and died for us, because He LOVES us. Now that is the ultimate sacrifice and PERFECT love. That love is really indescribable.

Always remember this:

HIS LOVE IS RELENTLESS!!!
