Atatiaia
After arriving in Sau Paulo the big team split up into two groups, as you all know the green team stayed behind in Sau Paulo while the Yellow team went on to Atatiaia.
Picture an orange and yellow painted house in a nature reserve on a mountain with an amazing view of the valley below, capouchen monkeys swinging around in trees that towers over the house and hummingbirds swiftly flying past not afraid to sit on your finger to drink from the sweetend water on the porch railing.
It was a wonderful experience as we went to visit many waterfalls and went exploring intresting places in our off times.
We were warmly welcomed by Tom and Mariana and their daughter Louisa whom did Global Challenge 2 years ago.
In the mornings we helepd to paint their house and fix and build the prayer room that Mariana had so long dreamed for. 10 years ago she started asking God for people from all over the world to come to the prayer room and be with God, and us being there was like an answer to her prayers.
In the evenings we had devotions and we also had a lot of prayer time. It was such an appointed time that God put aside for us, to just spend time with Him and to sink into His presence.
It was such a blessed time and we will forever carry the time in Atatiaia in our hearts, the time spent with God, the wisdom from Tom, the spiritual input of Louisa and all smiles when Mariana called for an INTERVALO...
