It does seem a bit strange to be able to say that a country is wonderful after just two days in the country, of witch the first day was filled with surprise $25 visa costs and bus trips, but the today, the second day was so much better! We are staying here in Katman du for a couple of days until the 1st of June when we are flying to India, but today we had an amazing day in Nepal! We saw a mountain with a temple in the distance and decided to head for it! We tried to find our way trough houses and urban settings, and we did find our way, eventually!
We walked around the temple and we where shocked at how confused these people are! They really have a mixture of every religion and then they call it Hinduism! We walked around the temple praying and taking photos for a while and then decided to head back home, but when we got down from the mountain the first thing we saw was a church! We went in immediately and we sat right across the street from this temple in a room with about 50 Nepalese people! We couldn't understand of the service, but afterwards we had a youth meeting and we worshipped with about six of our Nepalese brothers and sisters, singing songs like "These are the days of Elijah".
We then started back home, or in the general direction we thought home should be, but we got side tracked when we walked past a couple of local boys playing cricket! We immediately stopped and joined them!
After a nice game they pointed us in the right direction and we were able to reach our home! WE really enjoyed it!
The United Vision Church here in Kathmandu asked us to pray for them, because they have some difficulties expanding!
I don't have any photos this time, my camera broke in the process of travelling to Nepal, but it will be fixed tomorrow so then I will be able to upload photos again!
Thank you for all your prayers, and please don't stop!
Have a blessed time!
