Have you ever felt like you just needed a little bit of encouragement?
Today was one of those days for me... I was walking the streets of Nepal wondering if all these foreingers are searching for something, as I was searching for Christian Fellowship outside of South Bound - someone just to encourage me for the rest of the year...
and... As i walked into the Crazy Burger Cafe and ordered a Banana Milkshake I sat down next to a friendly couple who seemed diffirent than the rest of the foreigners - they were enjoying life.
As they were getting ready to leave I greeted them and asked them about their stay in Nepal. We started of with some chit-chat and when I told them about my journey they asked if I was part of a Christian org. as soon as I said: "YES" we shared our stories and exchanged e-mails - they were also Christian. Just as they were on their way, Marland asked if they could pray for me.
I was really overwhelmed by excitement and immediatly replied:
"Yes, Please do!".
They were such a blessing. They came to Nepal on their 40th Wedding- Aniversary and this just encouraged me so much I had to Immediately write a blog.
Thank you so much Marland and Alice. You brought light to my day and life to my year.
