CHALLENGING,EXCITEMENT,ANTICIPATION,NERVE-WRECKING,UNCERTAINTY,EXHAUSTING... are some of the words flashing in your mind when faced with a challenge. But above all,you have a EXPECTATION to see God work and provide in miraculous ways.
The New Zealand Challange started on Monday morning 07:00 and our team finished at 00:00 in 4th place. We had varies tasks that had to be completed during the day. I will list a few:
1. One team member had to catch a fish from a kayak.
2. Fill an empty bottle with sea water using a tube with holes in.

3. Built sand castles
4. Play a game of volleyball and win
5. Visit a Maori tombstone and Maori statue
5. Visit the Auckland Museum and attend a Maori Cultural Show.
6. Enjoy a cup of coffee at a coffee shop in the well-knowm Perrell street
7. Visit the Trinity Church
8. Using co-ordinates to find a "hidden obstacle" in a forrest.
9. Climb Mount Victoria and enjoy a spectacular view over Auckland City
We had lots of fun completing the tasks and was amazed at the work of God in everything we did. I will share one story with you.
Each team member received NZD 35 for the day to cover all expences. We bougt a day-pass from a local bus-company which allowed us to travel with no limits. At around 21:00 we realised that our bus-passes are not valid on the bus-companies that operate on the route we had to travel on and our money was finised! A bus from another company offered us a free one-way ride to Devonport but we had no idea how to return.
On our way back from Devonport we passed a church. While the team was prayer outside, three of us entered the church. We met 4 amazing people and shared with them who we are, where we are from and what we are doing. They were very interested and offered us a ride to the forrest where we completed our final task. They also blessed us with NZD 80-00 for further expences!!!! Praise the Lord for this amazing people.
After finishing our final task at 23:30 we had to travel to the finishing point. With no busses and it was too far to walk home the only way was by taxi. The firt taxi charged us NZD160 but the Lord provided a guy that only charged us NZD 40! We were just amazed at the Lords provision and divine appointments he arranged for us.
We are currently in Guatemala and looking forward to the time here.
Thank you for all your support, love and prayers. Please keep on praying for the work the Lord wants us to do here in Panajachel.
Lots of love
Kobus, Tiaan, Debree and Marizy
