So we were sitting on a rooftop in india singing the song THE ANTHEM. The words go something like this : wake up child it's your time to shine, you were born for such a time as this.
I have been pondering on these words a lot and they carry so much significance. These words reall shook me and I realised this is our time to shine. By shine I mean bringing God's light and living in His fullness. I was motivated more than ever to search my own life and to get rid of anything that is withholding me from shining in God's glory. We were all born for such a time as this. God made you for the time that you are living in. What a wonderful thought. You were born at exaclty the right time. The time that God wans to use you in.
Together with this I also realised that God made me exactly how He wanted. I truly feel that if people could believe and know this that it would solve many issues that some people struggle with daily.
While being on this journey this year, i am aware more than ever of the amount of people that are lost and do not know about the wonderful gift of Jesus Christ. So may we bring light wherever we go.
So may we wake up every day and realise that this is our time to shine: to bring his light, to live in his fullneSs and His freedom and His mercy and grace. For all of us this is at a different place, a different setup, but all for the same God. May you realise and may God reveal to you where and how to SHINE!
WAKE UP CHILD IT'S YOUR TIME TO SHINE, YOU WERE BORN FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.
