Under construction

I love my home. It is where family is. It is where I grew up and was given grace in the process of growth. It is my safe space and place of rest. It is a place of sharing. Home is more than the walls and the things inside it. It is where adventure and discovery occurs...which brings me great joy.

Walking into Global Challenge has given me exactly what I believe to be like home. I've only been here a month but already I have been challenged in my doing and thinking. I learn a lot about Jesus and what He has done for me. Here I have come to realise that this year I am at "home" to open my heart to the Father.

1 Cor 3:9-11 says: For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Currently I realize my heart is like a house under construction. It is a bit of a mess and I am allowing Jesus to come in and fix, replace, colour in, fill the holes and even break down what is not of Him.
