Ps 139:5 "You place your hand of blessing om my head"
I could write pages and pages about this 4 weeks in this beautiful country that is so close to Gods heart (Thailand). God came and answered so many of my prayers and gave me the opportunity to really spend time with the Thai people.
It was so sad to go, but it was also wonderful to see how God is working through the few Christians that there is.
Something that not one of us can deny is what Jesus told us so many years ago. "The harvest are many, but the workers are few" and that is very true for a country where most of the people grew up as Budists and live in families where they have practiced it for years.
At the age of 12 Jesus understood his mission and 18 years later at his baptism he began carrying it out. He had to be baptized because he was fully human. There he identified with those who were repenting of sin.
I really prayed to God to change my heart this year so that I can step out in faith and be bold in my walk with Christ. Well the Lord started to talk to me about choice.
Choice is the most special and wonderful gift that God could ever give a human being. He didn't have to give us choice, he could have rule over us with an iron hand. He can do it , he is God. Everyone would have served him then, but He could not do that because that is not love and God is Love.
He loved us so much that He gave us free will and the ability to choose.
Life is all about choices. What subjects must I take? Must I go and study? Where does God want me to go and work. What car must I buy? What must I wear today????????????
Have you ever thought about choice as a special gift from God?
What is the most important choice you ever maid in your life? Who you should marry?, In what country you must work?, What and where you are going next year?
I believe that the most important choice you will ever make in your life is: Do you choose to give your life away (die in yourself), so that you can live forever? Are you willing to be a servant, humble yourself before God and be willing to admit that you need Jesus, because you are a sinner. Are you choosing a life in abundance with the Holy Spirit living in you and through you day by day?
I was baptized on Sunday ( the day when Jesus was risen from the dead 2009 years ago). I am alive in Christ Jesus. I was baptized when I was still a baby where my parents promised to teach me about Jesus and where God told me that he chose me even before I was born and
I thank God for his grace (the fact that I grew up in a Christian home and had the privilege to know him all my life). On Sunday I had the privilege to publicly declare that I am a sinner and that I am nothing without Jesus. I choose life in abundance and give God all the Glory!!!!!!!!!!
The only thing I can give is this life you gave me. strong>This is my offering to you my God.I will give you my life, it's all I have to give, because you gave your life for me. Anonymous.
