Urgent Relief for Niger Project Update

The URN Project is on a roll

Praise the Lord for the R26 400 we have already received. With this money we will be able to serve our first targeted village with food parcels!

This weekend we spent time with the Fulani tribe in Tânout, which is our major distribution point. When we arrived, it really broke our hearts to see numerous children with empty buckets begging for food.

We enjoyed time with the Fulani tribe and also had some Bible studies with them.We discussed the project, and they are very excited and thankful on how God is using people to provide their needs.

They told us that their government has made promises upon promises, which are just never met. Some food distribution has been going on. However, this works according to a selected name list and one man we met has been applying for so long, but his name just never appears on the list.

Our time schedule is worked out depending on what day a local market runs in each village. The reason for this is that the Fulani must travel four days from their wells in the desert to reach the villages. The tentative time schedule in each village looks as follows:

Wednesday(2 June)- Dogo

Saturday(5 June)- Tanout

Sunday(6 June)- Kantche

Monday (7 June)- Goure

Thursday(10 June)-Zinder

God's heart for His people is being revealed and we can not ignore their desperate cry!

Please stand with us we still have an amount of R33 600 to raise to be able to reach all these villages!
