What a privilege!

As I was looking out of the plane's window as we descended upon Greece... The sun reflected on the sea, the islands stretched out as far as I could see. The light was red golden and the clouds surrounded small patches of land - it was the most beautiful sight I've ever seen...

In that moment it truly dawned on me for the first time, what we as Northbound is going to do this year, and what Global challenge has been doing became a reality! Up to now it's all been too good to be true! But now it is true! We are here! Ha-ha! I felt so humbled that the one and only God of heaven and earth who created all things (and the beautiful Greek islands) - calls me His child! What a privilege to know Him  as our Father and friend. This amazing message I cannot wait to carry across to our fellow friends and the poor in spirit! Thank you God that we can serve You and that we have freedom of worship in South Africa! This is something not to be taken for granted friends!

Northbound has had an amazing journey so far. We arrived safe in Greece and tonight we are sleeping in beautiful, clean and soft beds tonight, had awesome dinner and met 2 new friends from Turkey.(the far left and middle top Miele & Arjan)

We had the pleasure of viewing Athens from Likavitos Hill, where Paul is believed to have given his sermon to the maltitude Greeks of the ONE TRUE GOD he serves, This is the view from the top of the Hill:
