In April 2003 I was diagnosed with something called Endometriosis. Doctors told met that the condition can be controled with the pill or hormone injections - but not cured. I had the operation to remove the growth that was there and took the pill to control my hormones. My hormones were too strong for the pill and it only worsened the conditoion rather than helping.
The sypmtoms that I experienced were extreme pain and discomfort during mentruation, excessive bleeding, irregularity and spotting. ( And then as the condition progressed - the possibility of partial to total dystruction of the ovaries - meaning no children.)
Over a period of time I learned how to deal with the condition by taking high dosages of pain medication, a hot water bottle and a bed if possible.
When we were in Guatemala we had a deliverance session and I had the opportunity to
nail all my sins to a wooden cross & everything else that I didn't want anymore. Endometriosis was on the list aswell. And I was convinced that I was healed from Endometriosis.
Later on I realized that my body still needed to get with the program & I refused to give up on the idea that I'm healed. I even refused to take pain killers ( which didn't work that well).
While we were in Russia - I was lying on my sleepingbag in a church - when 5 girls in my team walked in, formed a circle around me, layed their hands on me, and started praying for healing over me. I felt a slight warm tingling ( so slight - I thought I was imagining things) on my lower back. And slowly but surely the pain started decreasing and the level of discomfort became less and less. 20min later I was standing outside with my fellow team members - socializing with the Russians until 1am that night.
It is a little more that a month later and I can confidantly
say with absolutely no doubt in my mind that I no longer have endometriosis. That my heavenly Father healed me completely:) Praise his awesome Name!!
