Beautiful Barbados-Find Rest My Soul

My goodness what a place... its the closest to a holiday paradise that i have been on this side of the world.

all of this feels surrreal really, having met aunty Seeta in Guyana who gave us the keys to her house in barbados, we find ourselves 2km away from the turquoise waters and white sand of the barbadian beaches. Nothing short of AMAZING!

We have been journeying in truth in such a beautiful way as a team and it feels that The Lord is really challenging us on moving into maturity. and as a leader i am blown away by the fruit that is being dispalyed. The seed of hope is being planted in the hearts of people all around the world because of the fruit that the body is bearing. and i'm understanding that tasting and seeing that The Lord is good, has something to do with us (believers- oaks of righteousness) His body bearing the fruit of the spirit, and because the fruit is attractive they eat and the seed of truth is planted and bears fruit and the process continues, and so the forrest grows, it grows all around the world. and all it takes is for one tree to be obedient and allow The Lord to establish, root and prune so that His truth can be brought...next thing you know there is a whole forrest, and as they bear good fruit the world will "taste and see that THe LORD is GOOD".

k so a little glimpse into my journey (which is quite extensive so am going to focus on this one point). REST, a word that has been spoken over my life and a concept God and i have been hanging out discussing for a while. For the first time i am really grasping this and actually reaping the fruit of all the sowing that has been happening over the past year or so. and man am i grateful to be at peace with not having to keep busy but to just respond to God's voice and enjoy life as ministry becomes apart of my very being and every day life. So no matter what i am doing i'm about my Dad's business cos everything that i do is an overflow of Christ living in me:) believe me it make swimming in the beautifully blue ocean blissful because i am not feeling guilty about not doing enough. REST!

So let me explain a little before you begin to think that i am on a Glorified holiday...
Dead works...well other than understanding that God hates them and they are equated with used menstrual garments ( in other words disgusting to God), what are they exactly: they are exactly that dead works, works that are done out of the dead man. and who is the dead man? well according to ephesians 2 we are dead outside of Christ, we are dead if we have not been made alive by His Spirit, therefore anything that is done outside of Christ anything that is not compelled by His spirit is a deed done from the dead man and therefore it is dead work. it is meaningless! only that which is done by faith, a work that is birthed from the Spirit Alive in the flesh heart of the transformed believer will ever bear the fruit that God set it out to accomplished when HE willed us to act it according to His decrees.

And so as i sit in this beautiful place enjoying the relationship development that is happening in my team and waiting for our next opportunity to "minister". Just responding to the Lord's  "WAIT",  i have never experienced so much peace. And what a change for this very busy body...FREEDOM! to live in faith and know that Christ is always busy and that He loves people, and as i rest in Him i will always be developing relationships with people and imparting that which He is pouring into me....RIVERS!

thank you for barbados LORD!
