The reason I am writing this blog is because I would like to share a testimony of a promise that God has fulfilled. In 2009 around the end of our one year journey God showed me that I was only allowed to share the testimonies of what God did in this year, traveling with GCEX, for the following two years. He also promised me that after this time I would begin my ministry.
So this is exactly what I did. God gave me the most amazing roommate my freshman year of University, and we had endless conversations deep into the night about everything God had done for us and is still doing in our lives.
When these two years were done, I had honestly forgotten about the promise God gave me. But it was not short after that exact date that God started to move in new ways. In a month God had taken acquaintances that I barely knew and created the most beautiful friendships.
It all started with a prayer meeting every Friday night. We invited a few people, but the people who stayed were all people that God chose to have there and not who we explicitly invited. We started to realize this and just gave over to God and what he wanted.
God slowly took me back to old journals and promises about what He is going to do. That he would give me a group of women that I would share a Naomi, Ruth relationship with we would walk as sisters, and My God would be there God and my people would be there people. (Ruth 1:16)
The most astounding thing was that not one of the girls I now walk with I ever sought out. God just brought us together. At first we were three. And God constantly kept telling us that before the end of the year he would send us the fourth women. So we just waited patiently meeting every week to discuss all the mysteries of the Bible and the greatness of His presence.
Well God did keep his promise and added the fourth women, well actually he added 1 and a half women. Now we are four and a half. (See the picture bellow)
God is doing the most amazing things and these girls are teaching me so much about obedience and waiting on God. I sometimes think, still now after almost a year, they do not realize what an amazing blessing it has been for me to be a part of their lives and their journeys with God.
I daily see God-fearing women being transformed and becoming women after His own heart constantly desiring to know Him more, constantly seeking to be sanctified… Because we were not made for impurity but or sanctification (1 Thessalonians 4:7).
I just want to encourage everyone reading this message to know that when you call on God and He will answer you and tell (show) you great and unsearchable things you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3).
