As I sit here and type, I am filled with emotions, wanting to go back, to see the amazing friends again, and definitely to be at Kamp Focus. That is the first place which was so quiet, that I am longing for that.
We started our time there with a camp, and in the first week, while having communion, I had such an amazing experience. It was like seeing Jesus in front of me, showing me His hands, and for the first time I cried so much that every time I stopped, I started again.
One thing I learned was that quiet times are very important. God is speaking to us, daily. This is elementary things I am talking about now, but so true and so heavy still. If you are a professing Christian, but you don’t make time for quietness, just sitting, watching Gods creation, no matter where you are, then chances are good that you will hear a lot more noise around you from this world. We have to stop, and listen. STOP. LISTEN.
I was so privileged at Kamp Focus, because everything there was quiet. Stillness. God’s presence was just so amazing there. Every morning when the sun rose over the green hills and treetops, I was just in amazement for a couple of minutes, which was just so amazing. Then I had to “force” myself to read again, but when I looked up, I saw Gods creation, just so full of light, life, and joy, freshness, and just a total peace. It was amazing to say the least.
Life in stillness is definitely a life worth living. I want to encourage everyone, to keep searching for God. Ask Him and then trust Him for revelations. Search the God of answers, not the answers first. Seek Him first in all you do….and you will have an abundant life.
May you have an encounter with God today, and may you search for Him even more. May you find that God is always near!!! span>

Grace, mercy and peace to you who belong to Christ Jesus, who paid such a high price!
To God be all the Glory, from now until eternity.
