Let us be your hands

It's on the television, in every newspaper and broadcast on almost every billboard and you've even read about it on the internet (like now).

AIDS

• we've all heard about it and the devastating effect it has had on our community, yet we so seldom get the opportunity to get our hands dirty. We can be your hands.
• At the end of 2009, there were 33.3 million people in the world who have been diagnosed with Aids, of which 5.6 million are from South Africa.
• 10% of all people living with Aids in SA are living in the Transkei.

We are going to be in the Transkei in the rural community of Mahosheni for 2 Weeks from the 2nd of February.

We will be working with the community to empower and mobilize those affected by Aids.



Have you ever built a house and rondawel, planted a garden, put up a fence and installed a water tank? All in a week?

Yes, this is what we’re going to be doing! And we need your support. Be a part of our team and donate!

The estimated funds required to meet the needs are as follows:
• Building a small stone house – R3000
• Building an aids centre for terminally ill AIDS patients –R2000
• Setting up a tunnel for a garden – R1000
• Fixing a fence – R2500
• Sourcing and installing a water tank – R6000
