No, we didn't...

So sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you... No unfortunately we didn't get to set foot on Mount Everest... But we did get to see a little bit of it from a distance.

The PIKN team is doing so well! India has been a wonderful growing expedience for each of us. We've learnt what it is to endure physically. An average of 47 Degrees C and running to the loo like it's the latest fashion is NO JOKE. (Esp. if you add a 12hour train trip to that)! BUT, it drew us closer together?

Through it all God has gone beyond blessing us. Not one of us can say that we left Khota children's home without being touched and changed. I do not want to say too much in this area, for each one of us met with God  and the children in a different way. ( You can read about it in our personal blogs).

In us as a team God also did such a beautiful work of growing us closer together in love, in unity and trust we worked together and with the Kids. God has been so gracious to us!
We've spent this last week in the Himalayas(see pic above), doing VERITAS (type of bible school) and it's really been a ‘MOUNTAIN TOP' experience for us- A time of digging into God's word and connecting with Him. What a privilege- but also a challenge, to Share what we've learnt with others.

We'll be arrived in London 4th of July. London couldn't have come at a better time of the year!!! We're trying to reat and recharge a bit for the second half of the year (But I';m not totally sure how effective that's going to be with all the beautiful sights to see and old friends to catch up with.)  Last Sunday we met up with the North Bound team for the first time since we split up in Israel. It was Kinda weard seing then again - but SO cool!!! (GO NORTH BOUND! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AT THE END OF THE YEAR).

For the rest of our week here in London we're applying for Visas, and then flying to Croasia and then Going through to Mostar in BiH. Where some of us will be helping on 'Summer camps' and some of us serving in Mostar

That's it for now, will try and keep you more updated in the future.

And in the words of the Kids: God is good, ALL THE TIME! All the time, GOD IS GOOD! (Their little voices would echo for miles).
