So sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you... No unfortunately we didn't get to set foot on Mount Everest... But we did get to see a little bit of it from a distance. The PIKN team is doing so well! India has been a wonderful growing expedience for each of us. We've learnt what it is to endure physically. An average of 47 Degrees C and running to the loo like it's the latest fashion is NO JOKE. (Esp. if you add a 12hour train trip to that)! BUT, it drew us closer together? Through...

Going Extreme!!!!!!!!! Thinking back at China, I realized how much we grew as a team and that we as women have a very special part to play in every country we go to serve. In China we could relate with children and women, but especially school girls. Just to be the women that God made us and not to be anything less. What a privilege to have a specific place in Gods Kingdom and to get to know yourself, your Godgiven gifts, your own heart as a women and just serve because you have so much to give. In...

Whip out a plastic packet and use it as a breadbaord(don't forget the letherman) 5. Some more help from the locals (We just want to comend Wessel for his patience). 6. Straighten out the grid (rooster). 7. Celeberty foto shoot. 8. Patch up sores (it was so cute, a little boy brought P.J some plaster). 9. Put the meat on the fire. 10. Spice it up. 11. Finally the Pink team Blogs again :P The last couple of weeks has been really incredible, we have experienced so much of God's faithfullness and provision starting with winning the "thailand/Malaysia" Challenge right through to being priviledged to have built awesome friendships in every place we have been. We are currently on a backpackers journey through different small villages somewhere in the middle of China. We as a team have decided to do it as a "Luke 10 type journey" where we trust God for food, accomodation, travel and the right contacts in every place. Already we can testify.... We...

The past week in Jerusalem has been an amazing journey where the stories that you heard from childhood just came to life in a totally new way that I could have never imagined.Just to see all the places where most of the Bible stories took place has been a life changing experience and there is no way that i will ever read a single story the same way.(Wessel) I have always known that Jesus died for me but seeing His grave (where they think he lay) and realizing the shame, rejection, and pain He must have experience was...
PINK TEAM: PJ, Wessel, Luzaan and Vix. We ROCK!!! No, no really, we do! There was a man of God that spoke a word over our team:"Grace team. Kids team..bunch of kids around team."FUN", magnet that will draw many to God." The coolest thing is most of us in the group are good with Kids (Some of us thought that we might take the year off from children's ministry- But obviously has other plans) We have already experienced so much of God's grace and favour upon us.In challenges He has blessed and protected us. For example the one night (12pm) we...
