RED TEAM: ITS A RACE!!

ITS A RACE!!

Famous last words? Never!

r The start of a life-changing experience! The race has started! Meet the crazy, excited, no-clue-what-in-the-world-is-happening
RED TEAM.

We were running around in the streets of Pretoria, having already started our first race of the year! The tasks include creating this blog, raising R2000, taking pictures of the Big Five and taking a team photo at the Vicoria Falls.

Our destination:

The Foundation for Cross-cultural Education (FCE) near Ndola in Zambia, that we have to reach no later that Friday ... and preferably first! This morning we've already raised R500 with "blikskud" at the Menlyn Mall crossing in Pretoria, and our travel coordinator is steadily checking out bus and taxi prices!

What a week it's been! Our time of preparation at Alabanza mission campgrounds were truly blessed. It's been a great time of prayer and preparation. We've experienced God already working His wonders in the lives of team and family members. From 20-21 January some parents and close family came to join the team, and after a delightful weekend we have trouble discerning whether the parents aren't more excited than the team! The weekend came to an end with a service at Moreleta Park congregation, who prayed and blessed us for the journey
ahead.

Until the beginning of March we will be attending a discipleship course at FCE. But we'll update you more about that as time passes. Check in regularly to see what the red team, which will be thoroughly introduced in our next blog, is up to!

Till next time ... by the power of Jesus, we're painting the globe RED!!!
