He truly did meet Christ!

By Stefan / 6 April 2008 / One year since my last visit to China

Today I experienced one of the greatest feelings ever!

A friend of mine has come to know Christ!!

Exactly a year ago we met a young man travelling through China! He blessed us in so many ways and we really became great friends! Through building a close friendship we were able to share our faith with him.

n

Our visit didn’t last very long as we were only able to spend a few days with him! Continuing with our travels we had to trust that God will continue the work He has started!

To the glory of God I received and email this morning from him and I would love to quote some of the text from him in that specific email for you to read!

EMAIL: “Things have changed a lot during the year, towards the better
side :) which I feel mostly grateful for you. Your prayer and inspiration. Was it coincidence or what?

I really have nothing to persuade myself but that god must have sent you over to open a new chapter in my life. You know at first I was struggling with the doubt of god's existence, but then for several times I found myself talking to him and even praying as if he was around like a 100% trusted person.

So tonight when I thought of you, I looked back over this year, then suddenly I can ensure that I do believe in him, that "Immanuel". I can't wait to let you know.”

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Isn`t the most amazing wonder!! God is so faithful and I am stand in awe of His doings!!

All the honour, glory and majesty belongs to Him!

From my side: Things are going well in Cape Town! We have another 3 weeks of CPX training left! We trust that God will in the same way continue His work in Red Hill once we leave! I can testify that this time for me has been a great learning curve and I thank each of you for your prayers during this time!!

Please continue to pray for me in the following areas!
- That I will continuously be clothed in a  mantle of humility
- That my heart will stay surrendered in the face of challenges
- Although I know my role within Global Challenge I am very uncertain of where I will live and function on a day to day basis after CPX
- I am still also trusting God for a vehicle
- I have fallen in love with the woman I believe God has kept for me! Please pray for us as we are seeking God’s will for the future!

It is great to be able to share this with you!

Blessings

Stefan
