Just a few quick pics to keep you up to date on the progress on Maggie's brand new home!
Because we are giving her an actual wood-floor (This will be the first house she has ever lived in with a floor other than soil) we had to dig some holes for the support beams.
This took us about two days, because of a lot of stones in the ground...
Abraham in the foreground helped me with the digging of the holes! On the left hand side of this picture you can see the single room "shack" that was put up last week just so that she and her two children had some where to stay. The white house on the right was not damaged by the fire, although Maggie's house on its left and Andries's house on the right of it was both burnt to the ground! Its a miracle! PS: The residents of the unburnt house; Johnny and his wife Martha has the same surname as I...
We worked so quickly, that we totally forgot to take photos of the pole planting and laying out of the floor! Here is a pic of the floor ready to be covered with floor boards. Just behind this structure you can see the remains of the burnt roofsheets that was on her house before the fire! We used some of it for her temporary shelter!
Thanks for your support and prayers!
If you would like to donate any other items she can use in her home, please let me know!!
God Bless
Stefan
