A Brew from Peru!

To Give you a small taste of Peru I would like to make you a a special brew.

All the ingredients are essential and bring a unique flavor, complementing the others to give you a pleasurable gastronomic experience. This fine brew is best enjoyed on the rocks... of Machu Piccu

First up you will need to travel to Peru.

For me it was a hop on to a 58 hour bus in Colombia, skip over the equator in Ecuador and jump right into Peru.

You will need a pressure cooker.

This makes all the ingredients give their full flavor in a short amount of time. Much like travelling in a team for a year.

Begin in the desert town of Trojillo with the warmest welcome of the year and willing hands eager to meet your every need.Give it your best and you will be blessed with divine appointments set up before the time which give your brew an exciting zest. There you can collect open hearts ready to connect to someone greater and larger than you or me could ever be.

At times you may begin to doubt but there is nothing to worry about, God has it all figured out. Don't you see when we are weak He is strong.

Up, up and up into the mountains of Incahuasi, an ancient people you will meet.

It may feel along the way that perhaps with every bump and turn the clocks began to un-churn all the way back to the 1600's.

Arrive on market day to see sombreros scurrying in the main street.

Hard working ladies dressed in heavy woolen skirts and bright blooming shirts can show you how to spin your own yarn and weave beautiful blankets.

Here for your special drink you can sit and think at the top of a hillwhich can subdue any aches and pains which you thought might need a pill.

Off to the concrete Jungle of Lima where you can expect young people who feel like long lost friends around every bend. Be careful not to get lost in the busy market streets with all sorts of snakes and skulls ready for you to meet.

And now for the final stretch, a slow and winding 18 hour drive to the ancient headquarters of the Incas.

Up into the clouds at sunrise to the top of Machu Piccu.

Don't forget to stop and soak up the view, finally here you can enjoy your fine brew!

The hand crafted ancient ruins fail to compare to majestically made mountains by the Ancient of days.
