Become the prayer

6 Weeks ago I arrived at training as a volunteer. Ready to serve the students with everything I have.

Little did I know I would be climbing on a plane in a few weeks leading the Hidden world 2016 team for 11 months through more than 16 countries in the middle east, central and south america on the transforming adventure of a life time.

So how did this all happen?

In Red moon rising by Pete Greig he writes,

Prayer is not primarily about changing things somewhere out there. It is first and foremost about changing something 'in here'. The most powerful thing that can happen in the place of prayer is that you yourself become the prayer. You leave the prayer room as Jesus's hands and feet on earth. This is what it means to pray continually: to see with the eyes of Jesus and to hear with His ears with every waking moment.

Well.. when praying for the teams and leaders for the teams I experienced God inviting me to this journey.

To love my team and point them to Jesus.

To see through His eyes and hear through His ears. To be His hands and feet serving the nations, walking in fellowship with Him and my team.

Training time has been transformational for so many including myself, it encourages me and excites me for what is in store for the year ahead.
I personally walked out of fear and witnessed others do the same.

I Experienced new depths of God's love and forgiveness.
So many of my perspectives have changed for example the kingom of heaven is at hand rather than somewhere out there beyond the clouds.
I witnessed and experienced healing through the power of the Holy spirit through prayers of Faith.

Truth replacing lies.

I was reminded of the best promise of all.. God will never leave me.
He (the King and creator of the universe) is going with me (ordinary person), leading and giving me LIFE wherever I go.
