He spoiled me...

God blew me away in Nepal.

On the airport we had to pay $25 per person for our visas. We did not budget for this kind of money. Now, for a team with just enough money to survive in a country, this is not good news. I could see that our team became worried for the whole budget went into our entry of Nepal. I on the other hand got excited to experience how God is going to work as the God who provides... kinda Luke 10 but not officially one.

For Nepal we devided into our two teams (I am part of purple) Miga, Vanessa, Arno, Jade and I went to an other contact than the rest of our team

Excitement after entry fees! I am walking on the airport reminded of how God blessed me during our stay here. I know that He did it for the whole team but I experienced Him spoiling me.
I like to think in orderly form, so here goes...
1. The first blessing, we only had to pay for four people to ride in the taxi the fifth member got a free ride to our destination.
2. After spending our budget in visa costs, we had no money to spend on food. As purple team we went to the supermark and bought the cheapest rice and atta porridge. With my eyes I bought a lot of other products. God sent our host to buy us food worth more than 9 000 nepalese rupees!
God blessed us with all that I desired and more!
When we packed out this 6 bags of blessings, I felt like I'm bubbling with happiness.
3. I remember how I prepared myself to sleep in one room with my team, a room with dirty walls, bearly a clean floor and inflatable matresses in the heat of Nepal with one fan.
God totally surprised me!
The taxi dropped us off at our addres.. a guesthouse!
Two bedrooms, a bathroom (western toilet and a shower), a kitchen (with a stove, microwave, fridge and a table!) and a TV in the lounge.
I felt like I am on vacation as soon as I realised that this is our apartment for this two weeks. I have to say that I was surprised with the free wifi... on top of this, our host anounced that we do not have to pay for our stay! Say what?? Now that is God's work.

4. We got to know the children at the hostel. We played soccer with them and played a lot of board games. I told God that I my heart desires to watch a movie, but let that thought go... I know we cannot afford it. Rosilyn took us and the boys with her for a movie! God came and bought me popcorn and a coke as well!

5. Every day we were blessed with delicious tea. Masala and some other funny tasting stuff... Joke! All was tasty, expecially masala tea and vita. (chocolate stuff)

6. On my birthday God just made me feel special. Hy worked through my team and we just had a fun time. We ate a lot of snacks, for me that is a great treat.

7. God knows that I miss my brother. He is five years old and his name is Johannes. So He gave me at a host with a family that has a five year old boy woth the name Yohannes. We clicked really quickly and I had the privilege to play boy games and to be in the pressence of a young boy.
Wow that was special. God gave me the chance to play like a child again.

8. I had an amazing time with God and He tought me that it is okay to just love people, I do not have to preach all thr time. The best thing is that I experienced Jesus as my romancer . He wants to spoil me and treat in special ways. Kind of like the handsome young man that is trying to impress the young lady. Hehe I am that lady.

I know most of these blessings were for the team, but I really took it for myself. This is how I got to experience God as the one who provides and Jesus as the one who persues me.
