"But it's my last one..." Yip, the day has arrived, it is the 31st of May and the last day of our blogging challenge.
For us the day started at 5am at Tobi's house. Everyone packed his belongings and we had some delicious oats to fill us before leaving for the bus station. We all said our goodbyes and it was a privilege to be able to bless Tobi and his family with a prayer. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and Welman found his long lost sister, Pinky... the evidence was in the hair.
Welman and Pinky. Pang looking happy.
Tobi and the boys.
With our bags on our backs we started walking the 4,5km to
the bus stop as hitch hiking in Phuket in impossible. At the bus stop we found that tickets to Hatyai was pretty cheap, so we opted for that seeing that it was raining as well.
The bus ride was long and boring. Bernard had an interesting experience with an older lady who was definitely not sober. She kept on touching his leg and coming onto him. In the end Bernard was almost sitting on Angelo's lap just to avoid the ordeal. Luckily she got off at the first stop. We tried to sleep on the bus, but that is a trick that not many of us have mastered yet.
"Oh Angelo, what shampoo do you use? Your hair smells great."
From Hatyai, we took another bus straight to Kuala Lumpur. What a privilege to be able to take busses all the way. God has yet again provided in all our needs and we just give Him all the glory
for what has happened over the past month. All of us stand in agreement that it is up there with the best times that we have experienced in our lives. We have seen God move in ways that few will ever see and sadly some will never see. We urge you to seek God with your whole being and be part of the group that get to experience God's grace and mercy.
Back at the Mac!
We are now in KL, sitting in the same McDonald's we wrote our first blog from. It is just before 6am now and we are pretty tired. We hope that you enjoyed the past month traveling with us and experiencing a God-seeking lifestyle. Our lives are changed and we are sure those of you who followed diligently do not look at the world in quite the same way either. Thank you for the support, comments on our blogs (they really mean a lot),
prayers and pledges. It is our prayer that you may come to know Jesus more and grow as a child in the Kingdom of God.
Many blessings.
