A mix of Islanders, South-Africans and some Kiwi’s

In New Zealand our team got split into 2 groups. 6 of us went down to Wellington. I was in the group that went down to Wellington, not just to go and watch the Rugby but also to go do Storm co, a ministry. When we arrived there we had no idea of what lay ahead, but soon found out we were staff along with teenagers!

It didn't take us 5minutes to realize that they were bubbling over with joy. Okay well - they didn't just bubble of joy but just cause they can. They giggled and talked and shouted and giggled again ... everything all together.

Storm co. is a winter camp held teens for kids. Working with them made us feel like kids again and we loved it. In the morning we ‘saddled up our horses' and started out with a kids program (up to 13 years of age). In the afternoon we did voluntary work like cleaning gardens or houses. We went to old age homes etc. Everything we did was so much fun because in everything we had fun.

The teens taught us so much about God's character. They loved one another even though they were not of the same race, school or status. They pull you in if you want to or not, because you are special to them. I saw, that even in our time, there is still kids - heck TEENS that we would classify as ‘old school'. I saw that there is still hope in all places no matter how rich or poor. God place hope in everyone that serve Him for the rest of the world to see.

So I would just like to take the time to say thank you to the boys and girls of Storm co. that served with us for their Godly heart. I would also like to thank out host family's that took us in even when they knew it was only for two days. You showed Gods love and kindness too us as well.

May your hope reach other people like these peoples that touched me and the rest.

Hope, Faith and Love (1Cor 13)

Zylna
