We have found lately that storms can come and go in an instance!! While we were still in Macau a Typhoon hit the coast while we were camping on the beach. People came and warn us but we didn’t exactly know what a Typhoon is so why get worried! Besides this time of the year they usually don’t even get Typhoons thus it’s not suppose to go over an nr. 3, but it did.
I’ve realized that’s how things go… you get warned about a storm that’s going to hit your life if it’s in season for it or not.
Most of the times you can see it but choose to look over it and avoid it or maybe you don’t recognize the signals because it’s a new type of storm. Then God sends someone or the Holy Spirit to warn you about it, but it’s still your choice to listen and be attentive or to ignore it.
If you are attentive and do the necessary precautions you will not even notice the storm that increase and then dies out so you can continue your walk with the Lord, which is ideal but then you don’t see the miracle behind the crashing storm.
When you ignore the warning you don’t have time to focus on anything else than yourself and your belongings! ! Thus the storm makes you self-centered and can destroy everything you care for. It makes you tired and blinds you. When you take a step back and just turn to the Lords sanctuary He will send the people to help you get out of the storm and they will nurture you.
There is also a good chance that 2 sets of people will be send over your path: 1 that fears God and follows Him and the other that is off the world. Both of them will be equipped to help you out of that storm but what you will learn from it will differ.
If you choose the first you will love your God more and grow closer to Him even when the storm is still going, but if you choose the second you will love yourself more, temptation will be in the air and then you will have to stand firm while you are still recuperating from the other storm.
Choices are so important and vital in our lives that it actually determines your life and the outcome there off. Even if you don’t make the choice the storm will still come to pass affecting you and leaving you in a more vulnerable situation to choose. So make the decision as soon as possible so that it will not be able to evolve into the next phase where it’s even more difficult to choose.
When there are two choices in front of you and you don’t know which one, God knows and the word (Holy Bible) will guide you in the right direction. God is a living God and He will prove that to you if you only ask with your whole heart (1Kings 18:16-40) and obey Him in what He asks of you.
Pray that you will find the Living God
Jesus Love
