Bapchismo (I like to spell foenetically)

Bapchismo (I like to spell foenetically)
Getting Baptised After God brought so much freedom and healing in Guatemala, getting baptised brought even more joy and a new peace.   But this is only an introduction to living in the Spirit all the time – the old Betty goes under the water and a supernatural thing happens in the Spirit and then a new creation comes out from the water. Thank you Jesus J

To everyone who doesn't know what Southbound has been upto...
So we've been away from South-Africa for about 5 and a half months now! Here's some news on what we've been upto as a team as just some personal growth and all kinds of things. Basically a brief overview this rollercoaster year so far... Okay in the beginning of March we started off in Brazil. Our time with them meant so much to me, I am changed for ever! I just want to be...

Cake-eaters for life! Blue teams starter-upper Luke10 in Guatemala
In Panajachel another group of young people came to also serve Mi-Reto and we came alongside them. So we are just unknowingly sitting listening to Louis (our team leader) welcoming the new group and he says “Ok, please open your Bibles up to Luke 10” and thats when we knew!! Luke 10 challenge!!! The challenge is to go out, preach the gospel and heal the sick and take nothing with you! So our instructions were to leave Panajachel, find our man of peace and come back in 3 days. We got 20Q (which is equal to R20) and that we...

Crash Boom Bang – Biking in Brazil

The Brazilians like to bike around. I had my first bicycle accident on my first day in down-town Ubatuba and many were to follow. The first high speed accident was a head-on-collision (going about 2km/ph) with a 10year old boy while I was trying to balance the weeks groceries on the handle bars. There was lettuce and yogurt flying as I was trying to scoop up my pride from the sidewalk – on the wrong side of the road.
