Fatima - Portugal 8 Dec our local "fostering" families took us to Fatima, head of the Catholic Church in Portugal. It was a national Catholic festive day in Portugal and the cathedral grounds were swamped by hungry hearts. Hungry for salvation, yet the salvation their religion offers them does not refresh their hearts!!   What an experience being on 80 days! Our journey started in Egypt, Cairo and we are currently  in Portugal. Egypt: I am not sure what exactly I expected , but Egypt was not it!! Cairo is absolute chaos, and it works for some  reason!! The streets are dirty and traffic is a mess! What blew my mind most was that peolpe are content living in the mess and do not intend to better there circumstances.
