Unity

It is cold and rainy. Someone's singing in the background, while the street is going crazy with hooters and sirens.

Outside it is busy with people going up and down and with their body language you can tell that in this place they flourish on a "every man for himself" basis. You have to bounce around all the rubbish to make your way from point A to point B.

The coffee smells and tastes funny and the food is absolutely delicious.

Welcome to Jordan!

Each one of our team members, going through their own joys and struggles. Everyone kind of on their own mission except in the mornings when we come together as one body before Christ.

This time we have together is almost like a family Christmas gathering. Everyone is doing their own thing. The children is playing outside, the women is focused in the kitchen to give the food dishes that final touch and the men are in the lounge talking about cars and politics. But when it is time to eat, everyone enters this specific atmosphere, I almost want to say a type of Holy moment, together as one family.

This is my favorite time of the day. Us as a team just spending time together in the Word and in the presence of our Father.

It all comes down to one word: Unity.

We have prayed about this even before we left South Africa and evidently there is Someone who loves us very much, hearing our prayers.

As I'm listening to the singing in the background, my prayer for our team is that this single word - UNITY - with so much meaning would become a priority for every single one in the team to give it even more meaning.
