Alright so Malaysia was legit, it was nice to come from Phuket Thailand getting to the boarder, waiting In the long lines to get through and then taking a minibus all the way to our destination which was a ywam base in Penang on a street called love lane !.
Just being there was a cool thing for me because I was seeing more and more everyday how the lord has not only changed the team but me. It's not only small things it's big things too, there's times when you get into an argument and then the two of you realize "hang on a second, let me just swallow my pride and sort this out properly." Or even if our leader says okay guys lets go out and pray for people then we all get super excited and involved with the task, I was just in a constant happy vibe.
Then about half way we got an awesome chance to do some "treasure hunts" (prayer that's fully Holy Spirit lead) with some World Race people and that was Insanely cool for me he has I was with this one guy Mike(he has a legit beard, a very inquisitive personality and he just wanted to be constantly filled with Holy Spirit ! ) we got to hang out quite a bit, but at the same time I was praying in my quiet time and asking the lord, like "can I be of any influence to anyone ? " obviously in a good way, but in a sense of "man, I just want to the person to at least one guy or girl that when they see me they see the light of the lord and get encouraged by it !" I wasn't thinking that this was the guy that was being a little more encouraged by me every time we spoke !
We where walking the one day and then he just said to me that he was almost inspired to seek more of the lord and I was soo stoked !! Haha it was really legit ! Just had the intense moment of giving glory to God !! !
There was also really pleasant times when I got to serve the homeless and just sit and talk with them, hear there stories and really just bond with them.
It was inspiring to see how happy they were just for some food when they still have so little and here I am Moaning about 2min noodles everyday! At least I have something ! You can really learn from them!
I also gained a new BIC (brother in Christ). He's an amazing dude JJ De Veau. Seriously he's one of the most driven men of God I've met, he was also such an Inspiring person to listen to and talk to ! The lord showed me some insanely cool things that I needed to look at in my life through him ! And now we have this awesome brotherly bond in Christ ! Even now after that when he went to his home base back in Japan we still speak and pray for each other getting words and encouraging on another !
After Malaysia we mission to Nepal! Where for the first two days we spent in a nice hostel! Chilling there resting ! We moved to a small church in a small three story building where we all slept on the floor ! (Haha and in my mind I was a bit grumpy about this hard floor again because I don't have a mattress ) but I'll come back to that !
We spent a few days there waiting because we where going to the mountains to stay in a Sherpa village, but before that I had my birthday on the 23rd of sept which was made so special by my fantastic team! Really meant a lot to me ! First time In My life that I had a surprise party !
The coolest thing for me was actually a few days before I started waking up early in the morning to spend that time reading the word and just worshiping because after a couple of weeks of the same prayer, I finally believed that I would receive the passion to read the word and gain more knowledge about it and just learn more about God ! I like this one quote from kris vallotton "all of the bible is in God but not all of God is in the bible!" So I was like "BOOM!" Mind blowing ! I'm experiencing God in reality all the time, learning and seeing first hand what he can do just for us ! And I have this book that shows me more about him ! Solid written words inspired by the Holy Spirit all out together in a perfect order explaining things that happened in the past and telling real true stories of great things not o my the lord did on his own but amazing things the lord did with the people who followed his will ! And again I was like "BOOM BAM" I want that! So now it's this amazing excitement and overflow of joy that fills me every freaking time I get into the word!

We traveled I think 11hours on a bus which was up the side of a stinking high as mountain ! And the funny thing was that we weren't even on a road ! Haha I saw on one of the busses that it was a 4x4 bus haha that was just really funny ! It was also so cool to see such wonderful views from the Mountains ! Once we arrived at the foot of the mountain that we where going to go up In jeeps we did a quick bathroom break and then jumped all 13of us (11global, 1pastor, 1cook 1 driver ) haha in a small jeep and we had our big bags ! We eventually made it up the mountain.
It started with me getting so sick and weak the evening leading into the first day of work but I just couldn't even stand ! But at least I got a fantastic chance to rest in our tent and have an amazing view of this high mountain with snow on it and a waterfall in the distance, so every time I woke up I just saw that and marveled at God's amazing creation ! Then I would pass out again! At least I had a smile on my face ! Then the next two days was really awesome we just moved rocks and had a blast running with big rocks passing it In a production line ! The last Friday was an off day to just relax and have some time to take it all in and there was just this one special thing that we did pretty much everyday, we went to the freezing cold river and swam and just had a blast there ! Now it's almost 4days and by this time most of the guys where not sleeping well because of the floor that was bumpy and hard with rocks and all that, so you can imagine my pain with no mattress haha! There was one day that Calvin, Lucas and myself went with the pastor up the mountain to another village ! We came back on the same road/mountain pass! We came back to the small church in the 3 story building and I walked in and I was so happy because now I have this flat ground with this soft carpet ! I was really happy and thought back to the time when I was not stoked! (Good lesson for me )
We moved to another church just up the hill and there we stayed for the first week just us globals on the floor in the church hall and everyday we would go to about two churches or small house fellowships and we all had a chance to give a teaching ! I was nervous but when my time came it just flowed ! And it was also had because we had a translator ! So the thing that I struggled most was spiritual warfare. ! I've never experienced this much before, when you having this big battle in your head about the lies coming in and then you have to put that aside so that you can pray for a church and get a teaching done ! Now Jason and I learnt a lot about all this and we have actually grown ! I think if I write all of it done then I'm gonna loose my phones battery haha! That was a weeks worth of crazy running around then we had a big church camp at the place we were sleeping at and now it was us globals and then 20other men haha so we where on one side and then they on the other ! Their culture is :wake up at 5am then shout "goodmorning" and "praise the lord" to the person right next to them ! So this was a good three days of grace growing haha ! But again it was now running around looking after kids and then called to pray and speak with whoever wanted ! Again just me learning that surrender ! It was such a good feeling after we had finished those three days ! I can tell you that it was a great growth time for me ! ! We then said our goodbyes to the awesome people we were with ! Then moved to our next place. Just a chill time at iris ministries ! Was legit when we got there Jason and I just took the first room seeing a big bed and we didn't mind sharing so then when we walked in out out stuff done and we saw !!! Omw it's actually two double beds !! Yasso I was flipping so stoked !! Now I have this fantastic double bed all to my self !! Like what??!! Hahha it was just to awesome ! Nothing to crazy happened in these three days just the last day I was trying to find the children's home and just letting Holy Spirit guide me haha and eventually I was like okay I think I'm lost and I just said to God "hey man help me out here i think I'm lost!" Then literally three seconds to by and then one of the kids from the home opens the window and shouts "hey uncle! It's this house !" I just laughed and was like thanks brah!
