I couldn't agree more.
These past weeks we learned so much, it feels like Jesus is taking you on a race. You go through some thorns, but you run over them; you conquer them. Yes, there are tears, but they also turn into tears of happiness and triumph.
In this race you learn so many things. How to trust God for your finances, knowing that you can do nothing out of your own, but only through God's strength. You learn to remind yourself that God should always be number one in all aspects of your life. Day after day you must start your day grounded in Christ so that you won't stray out of His dwelling place.
"Prepare yourself. There will be rain, there will be a wind that will tear apart mountains and shatter rocks, an earthquake and a raging fire. God is not in the wind, not in the earthquake and not in the fire, but in the gentle whisper. "-1 Kings 19:11-13
Push through these winds and fires. Remember who you are racing for. Remember who you are racing with. See the rain as kisses from heaven and the earthquake as God´s love shouting over the dust of the earth.
Don´t always keep an eye out for the end, but encourage your brothers and sisters with the words of Paul the apostle " However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task of testifying to the gospel of God´s grace."
While you are running ; look to your side. Jesus is saying:
" Never will I leave you; Never will I forsake you."
