Into the Future We Leap!!!

We finished our last exam on Saturday the 6th of December and with that 12 years of school has come to an end. It was a great privilege and opportunity to do Home School and a blessing learn values over such a long time from their lives. The years passed in a blur!! All came to an end far to quickly, now a new world awaits us.
We decided to take a Gap Year and serve the Lord Jesus in the nations of the world and in doing so, listen to what the Lord Jesus specifically call us to do in the future. So on the 12th of January 2011 we are on our way to Global Challenge in Jeffreysbay. There we will do a six week leadership training and then literally fly off into the world.
We know that the Lord Jesus has an awesome eternal plan with our lives, and that we will never come back the same. We are going to serve in orphanages, build at mission stations, serve the poor while travelling on the route set out for us.  All we take with is a load of faith, a backpack with a tent and sleeping bag weighing not more than 15 kg and a willing heart to serve!!
