This is going to be interesting...

Hey guys, thought I'd drop you a line before I go watch the Brumbies play!!  

What a life changing week!!!  I knew it was going to be a lot of work, but it wasn't even that, it was just so intense.  We had a prophet from Scotland, Jo Ewan, to come and teach us on the gifts of the holy spirit and also prophesy over us.  I am a new man!

Although I have had some teachings on the gifts of the spirit, I haven't had it in so much depth and detail before.  The truths that were revealed to me were just awesome.  On the very first day we were taught on tongues and the interpretation thereof.  It wasn't long until uncle Jo had those who have not yet received the gift of tongues up in the front to be prayed for.  Now, I have had people pray for me for this very reason before and I didn't receive the gift.  This time though it wasn't much different, but I felt 2 words or sounds if you want to call them that returning to my mind, but felt that it was something that I fabricated in my mind.

Later that day we had teachings on prophesying and as an exercise to release this, half the group had to go stand against the wall closing their eyes.  Then Jo prayed for the holy spirit to come fill the place and work through us.  The rest of the group had to then walk over to any of the other standing against the wall, put their hands on that person's shoulder and wait for that person to speak.  I cant tell you how our minds were blown by what was said.  The most accurate words came out.  The girl on whom I put my hand said this, and only this:  You will speak in tongues!  How crazy is that?  This after I prayed the whole morning for that gift and felt that I didn't really receive it.  All the glory to God!!

This is just a little bit of the wonderful things we heard and experienced this week.  

Currently I am without voice as I have a bit of a cold, but things are looking up.

The teams are splitting tomorrow.  We will be going to PE on Mon and Tues for fundraising and then go with the bus to Pretoria.  Stay in Pretoria for the rest of the week until Monday morning the 1st of March when we shall be heading out of the country to India.
