AUS update

We went to Sydney on one of the weekends, which was amazing. We went to Hillsong and saw the opera house, its cool but I thought it was bigger. We are working on a farm doing all kinds of odd jobs. The sheep farm didn’t work out but God made sure we had a place to be. We are feeding horses and copping out trees all kinds of things that need to get done. It is so cold here, yesterday it started to snow! It was my first time in snow!! Thank You Jesus! I loved the snow but never likes the cold that comes with it.

This farm is doing some funny things to everyone. We feel so at home that every one is doing things that they would have done at home but didn't do the rest of the year. Erns is not wrighing in this diary as often as normal. Some are doing push ups. I don't pic up my camera any more. I took almost no photos. I just don't feel like a tourist any more. The one thing that shocked me was that I failed to get up and read out of the Bible in the mornings. I read bits throu the day but couldn't get a long sit down. This is bad because what am I going to do when I am back  home? This shook me and I made sure I would make lots of time to get into God's word.

At the beginning of the year I asked God if I can watch the men hockey Olympics finals. It just worked out so perfectly on the day it was played. Because of time differences the game was on before working ours and my head got mixed up. So I went the wrong day and watched the woman's game then the next day the men. I support Germany always except against South Africa so I was jumping up and down in silence as Germany won the final. (There was still people sleeping in the house) Then we went to Church and that is where I got to preach a bit and the man's back got healed. (This is all in the previous blog) Then o wow, they had a "out of Africa" night. The South Africans gathered and made the best food known to South Africans and bits of Aus and London. Spit braai, koeksister, melktert, PAP, boerewors and the one person that we met in church the morning gave us BILTONG!

This day just got better and better. One of the South Africans there had a hockey stick and ball with him and there was a park 100m away with 3 hockey fields. I couldn't stop smiling for ours. I stopped smiling when we had to go on a stage and sing to 220 people. The number of people don't bother me that much. The problem is that I sing so badly I can't even keep note when I am lip singing. o well we sang 3 songs and then the church band took over.

The one day I went hiking up the mountain near us. I ran up there because I wanted to see the sun set. The view was something that I don't know how to describe. It was glorious and so awesome to be there. I had time to talk to God there on the mountain, that moment was such a blessing.

God bless enjoy your day

PS: The world is not ending tomorrow, I am there. You still have time to pray for a few people.
