One body, many parts

"For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.”

Romans 12:4-5 NKJV

In Nepal Jesus took each of us as individual members of this family on an individual and personal journey. Each one of us as members of the body, unique and different had something else to learn in order to make the body as a whole stronger.

This was a country with many memories, miracles and messages. For many of the team it was the first time where they had to share a message in front of people, where they had to pray for healing and share their testimony in front of people they did not know. Through Jesus giving us a platform to set up and share Him, there was a lot of different lessons that came with that. We were all challenged in different areas and placed out of our comfort zones at different times.

We saw how each person in the team is important but also different. Different in how they share Jesus and different in how Jesus used them to reach people.

When it was time for debrief at the end of the country each person shared their journey and what Jesus taught them in Nepal...each person shared something completely different. Jesus taught each body part an important lesson that does not only make that body part stronger but also influences all other body parts.

And so we saw through our fellowship together how an individual persons journey influences the team. How we can all learn from each other in order to stand stronger in unity.

May Jesus continue to come teach each one of us individually so that we can learn from each other.
