Update time out of J-Bay and my first official blog
So the journey started Friday afternoon with checking in and meeting 30ish new faces and trying to remember their names. Saturday was largely spend on an amazing race like challenge in and around J-Bay, it was fun and i even got into the ocean and on a surfboard. At the moment we are still doing a lot of orientation and introductory stuff and have a lot of free time to get to know each other a bit better, but tomorrow the fun start when we are going somewhere to help with a school something till Sunday (as you see I got a lot of what the plans are)
The big news:
We are getting married.... um no, wrong big new. The Hidden World (South American) and the Distant Islands (South see and Caribbean Islands) are merging to form a Distant Worlds team for this year. So now I am part of a team of 12-13 peeps. At the moment it looks as if we are going to do some South American countries and Caribbean Islands, the places are not final till the tickets are bought, but they are trying to get us to the Easter Island and that will be totally epic.
Once I know more where we are going and who the team is I will update. For now I will leave you with the best quote of training so far: "the only certainty at Global is that things might change". Let the adventure begin

The quote can change to something like "the only certainty at Global is that things are going to change".
Go and enjoy it.
