For,
"All people are like grass,
and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever."
And this is the word that was preached to you. (1 Peter 1:24, 25 NIV)
About a week ago I read this, and it made me think, the Lord started something in my heart.
So as I was working in Canada this past week on a christian retreat camp in Ameliasburgh, I noticed all the yellow flowers blossoming and covering the fields of grass. When winter comes all the flowers fall away and everything is covered in pure white snow.
So the Lord just came and remind me the importance of the piece of scripture I received.
Humble yourself before the Lord and pray that he would always keep you humble in ever situation, every encounter with a friend or family member and even your enemies. Don't ever boast in yourself but always boast in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I know I'm guilty of being prideful and trying to be first all the time. I am so thankful that He came and died for all of my sins and allows me to repent of this, it is difficult for us as humans not to take pride because it is in our nature, its only by His Holy Spirit that lives in us that we are able to achieve true humility, knowing that we can't generate humility out of our own but He being humble through us.

Thank you for telling me to read 'The final quest' by Rick Joyner. I understand pride far better now and the devastating effect of it in our lives. Love you
99% of conquering pride is acknowledging it. Proud of you, Hanno!
