'Passenger Details- {Part 1}' A Tour of the Father's Heart for Africa

‘Passenger Details’ {Part 1}..A Tour of the Father’s Heart for Africa

I am a 25 year old lady currently working as a Project Manager for a company called Time Projects in Botswana.  I was born and raised in Botswana.  I went to junior school in Botswana and I went to Kimberley, South Africa, for high school where I was a boarder.  It was during boarding school that I met Jesus.

After completing my High School education I went to the University of Cape Town.  I was in Cape Town for five years where I completed an Honours degree in Construction Management in 2007.I proceeded to start a Property Studies Masters degree in 2008 which I recently completed while living in Botswana.  My time in Cape Town was so far the best time of my life.& nbsp; I was part of Jubilee community Church which is part of the New Frontiers family of churches led by Terry Virgo.  I received a lot of input from the leaders in the church who were dedicated to discipling me.

I am really in love with Jesus. I met Him at the age of 15. He came into my life when I was busy trying to achieve salvation with my own strength. He revealed His love and grace to me when I was sitting in a study hall at boarding school.  Since then I have grown to love and know Him more as my Father, Friend and Saviour.  I think that my heart for God can best be expressed through the words of Isaiah (26v8) when He says that ‘God’s Name and Renown are the Desire of our Hearts’.  My heart’s desire is to forsake my life and live for the glory of His name.

I believe that God has given me and is still growing my heart for people.  Isaiah 61 is one of the areas of scripture that speaks volumes of my God-given passion for people.  I love serving people in a way that builds them up to be who they are called to be in the Lord.  My experience with leading and building people up has been limited to a church context where I had the privilege of leading cell groups for about 4 years during my time at University. It was always a joy to see people grow and step into the wonderful plans that God has for their lives.  I know that God has graciously gifted me in this area and I know that reaching out to people really is my passion.

New Day, Gaborone and more!......Stay tuned for Part 2 of ‘Passenger Details’
