City Of Promise

"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.  Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest" (Mat. 9:37-38)

We serve a God that has so much love and mercy.  It is so clearly seen in the passage where He gives the servants the order to wait before they remove the harvest and the weads that was planted by the devil inside the fields (Mat. 13:24-31).  God gives the same chance for both to grow so that the good harvest will not be lost.  His mercy and love streches so far that everyone would be covered.  May God come at His timing to reveal the truth to those that still needs to hear.

Everywhere around us we can see that their are people searching and longiıng for something more, something real.  They are hungry for the truth and do not know where to look for the answers.  How can they when they dont know where the truth lies or where they need to start searching.

Around us we could see a harvest of promise that is ready to be taken for the Kingdom of God.  They carry the burdens of the world.  They carry the burdens of a lost generation searching for a King.  We know of the one calling them to the truth, we know of the one giving the promises of:  "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Mat. 11:28).  It is time for the harvesters to come Lord, Harvesters that will come and bring the lost to You.  There are so many lost and scattered sheep that only God can bring to the truth.  God bring Your precious Holy Spirit to this place

Around us we see so many symbols of promise.  Everywhere we go we see symbols of things that remind us of the promises God gives all His children.

In the middle of the walkway along the sea side we see this amazing big statue that symbolises so much promise.  May the fullness of the Holy Spirit be held by Turkey in its hands.  May every person that come to this place experience Your Presence in such a way that they hunger for more of You.  May the harbour of Kusadası become the harbour where people come that are searchıng and longing to find the only God,  God Allmighty.

How can you bring light in this darkness when you are not allowed to speak about the truth you hold in your hand.  We can only ask the Holy Spirit to come a reveal Himself to all.  We hold on to the truth that is so evident within this place through all the statues that show the promises God has for them.  They have them all around them and God knows what it symbolises.

It's intresting to see that this statue has three people standing hand in hand.  Our Godhead also has three persons:  God the Father,  Jesus the Son and The Holy Spirit.  Another intresting aspect to observe is that the statues hold a dove and a fire tourch in their hands.  Both these symbolise the Holy Spirit.  " He wıll baptize you wıth the Holy Spirit and fire" (Mat. 3:11).

May God's promises for this city come into fufıllment and may the people in this city see the promises around them that they places as statues of rememberance.

We leave you with this one thought and promise:

"With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible" (Mt.19:26)

May God bless you and keep you
