Lime Team in Thailand

Our Time in Thailand began when we were greated at the airport by this friendly family.  Isaiah the pastor with his wife Malai and little daughter, Nam Home and Son, Nam Pouh.  They came all the way to take us to the little island we would be spending most of our time in Thailand.  To help serve at a little christian refuge for girls that were abused and mistreated.  On this little island we did some other work and had the huge opportunity to build the toilet of the first church.  I will take you through our journey by adding photo's to include you in our story.

We were greated with opened arms and found our time here to be amazing and blessed by God.  We met the girls and were also greated by a friendly lady that was send there to make us food the time we were there (Professional Chef - Judy).  And how wonderful the food was indeed.  You can just ask our boys in the team what they enjoyed about the time in Koh Chang.

During the first couple of days the three girls in our team had to teach the other girls English while the boys went to work on the site.  They worked really hard in the heat and later on we also had the opportunity to join them in building the toilet.  The last day we could work send us to the night hours to try and finish the job.  See the photo's about our progress.

Where Johan is standing is the area where the toilet will be located.  Darko is standing in the new church that still needs walls and finishing touches.                                        & nbsp;

Digging the holes for the toilet, building the walls, putting up the roof and doing the last little bits took a while and in the end we could finish by saying we have a working toilet for the church.  The lime team work really hard and in the end it was all worth it seeing that the job was well done.  Thanks to team work and boys that are not scared to give all they have.

We also had the huge opportunity as a Lime team to attend a Thai wedding.  To our suprise we were greated the day before we left by an old friend Clara who came to visit us.  She just made it in time and attended the wedding with us.

Another blessed time we had as team was when we could spend a day riding on the back of elephants

We did some more building at the Pastor Isaiah's house and spend some wonderful times with him and his family.  Our time in Thailand was truly blessed and we could truly spend our time serving by building but mostly to pray for the people and places.

Just some random pictures of our times spend in Thailand.

Be Blessed The Lime Team
