Daunted but not fazed

I can only describe the first 3 weeks of training as intense, exhausting, tiring, liberating, excrutiating...and yet exceeding all my expectations. God has come to meet me in unexpected ways, in different circumstances, and it only goes to show me how intimately He knows each of us, and He knows exactly all our needs.

We have had the opportunity to get involved in a primary school and did the last bit of work yesterday. It was so exciting to see what could be done in only 2 weeks! We also got involved with the school children, and I was truly surprised by the compassion God has put in my heart. I didn't really know if I would be able to relate to them, and God has come to show me how very similar we all are. And for that I am truly greatful.

We had the wonderful privalege to have Floyd McClung and Retief Burger with us for a couple of days. Very practical and very honest sessions where God spoke directly to my heart. What a wonderful God we serve- He is truly all knowing, truly compassionate and nothing but LOVE. Even though I have had doubts in my mind about my capabilities for this year, He showed me that a willing heart and spirit is all that's important. He will provide me with the necessary words and wisdom when the time is right.
