He is all present-Croatia

We spent our time in Croatia on a farm called Camp Focus. It’s a place of anointment with beautiful green forests and hills. During our time in Croatia God provided for us, he stirred us, embraced us and equipped us. God’s presence and peace was so tangible. We had such a blessed time. We helped out at kids, family and youth camps and did some hard physical labour. The people we met were really amazing. Ex-drug addicts who are now on their knees worshipping God. 65% of their church consists out of ex-drug addicts, that’s how church should look like. Matthew 9:13 “I desire mercy, and not sacrifice. For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners” We were given Psalm 23 actively in our lives during our stay on the farm.

Psalm 23: The Lord is my Shepard; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. God then put Psalm 23 to practical use in our lives.

The Lord is my shepherd; God led us to Croatia to meet us there. I shall not want we didn’t have a lack of a need. We received amazing teachings about marriage, love and establishments; abundance in food, a resting place, bathroom facilities, our washing was done for us for free and much more. He makes me lie down in green pastures we were surrounded by breath taking nature, green forests and hills. The forest was always there in its peace and quiet to spend precious quality time with Jesus. We had times of worship and intimacy even during hardship. The green grass and the shade of the trees served as a resting place in the afternoons. He leads me beside still waters the waters refreshed us by Gods word and the flow of the Holy Spirit, be it to cleanse and to drink or understand Gods love. He restores my soul. It was a time of healing and restoration. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. God showed us he is an intentional God and His intensions is to make us more righteous in his sight. God answered a lot of prayers during our time in Croatia.

As soon as we arrived in Croatia we found ourselves in a position where we had no funds for the Croatia project. And in absolute unity we decided to take a bold step of faith and ask God for more funds than what was needed for the project. The next day a large amount of money exceeding the original amount was in the bank account. How awesome is our God and it just shows us again how God loves unity. & ldquo; When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there” Matt. 18:19-20

During the family camp guest speakers Glenn and Terry from America gave us AMAZING teachings on marriage, the purpose of marriage, family and some fruits of the spirit. He also gave his powerful testimony of how God healed him from deadly throat cancer, a five year battle. A story that makes you questions your faith in God and strengthens your faith and trust in God. They became very special people in our hearts and we have great respect for them.

God really spoiled us in Croatia by reacting the same day to whatever we prayed or asked for. We begin to understand more and more that we as Christians are not of this world, we have to decide whether we are hot or cold, there is no place for us in between and it’s going to take courage and boldness to live up to that choice. We are here to serve not because we have to, but because we want to.

The people in Croatia has a big problem with drugs and absent fathers, we realized the big effect the war still has on Croatia today. Please keep them in your prayers.

Croatia has a very special place in my heart…it weren’t easy to say goodbye. What good memories we cherish in our hearts.
