Jesus called us, He called Roelof, Ilze and Lume together, He gave us authority to cure diseases, to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.  It has been a remarkable experience so far.

As soon as we got off the train in New Delhi, India hit me with revolting smells, a very dirty place, and people spitting everywhere and urinating on the streets. For me it was chaos, dodging “tuk tuk’s” and scooters with hooters going off around me constantly. My first thoughts were “God please increase my boldness.”  Culture shock and all we found a nice little hotel to stay in for 2 days and as soon as we were settled in, we went exploring. My view began to change as we walked through the market with all its multicolours and very friendly people.  I had quite an enjoyable time.

 

   I have just realized once again that God does not do things like we do it. God has His perfect time, His perfect ways. That my life, my being is not about me, but that it’s all about Jesus. Do we really grasp the importance of one single prayer? How many times have we been saved by someone’s prayer without you knowing or how many times have we saved someone by one single prayer by being obedient to God , maybe a prayer out of pure desperation and if you ask something  God will most probably give it to you, in his perfect time. India was a beautiful platform to start off as our first country. We learned some valuable lessons and really experienced God’s favour and provision for the team. What was really interesting and heartbreaking about this nation was that most of the people are looking for something to worship, but are blinded to the one and only true God. Coming from Tropical Islands to China-Beijing is quite a shock, it’s hugely different! And I suddenly longed for the small town life I was so familiar with. But the time in China was unique; it was a stage of growth, learning, pondering and experience. Sometimes it’s difficult far from home but I know God’s purpose is far greater than I can imagine.   We spent our time in Croatia on a farm called Camp Focus. It’s a place of anointment with beautiful green forests and hills. During our time in Croatia God provided for us, he stirred us, embraced us and equipped us. God’s presence and peace was so tangible. We had such a blessed time. We helped out at kids, family and youth camps and did some hard physical labour. The people we met were really amazing.  Thailand is beautiful it looks like a painting coming to life.   We fell in love with the people of Thailand and its beauty!       On our journey we have no choice but to trust God completely for His provision and protection over us where ever we go, because there is no plan B.
