I've been on everyone's case the past week or two to blog and send out newsletters to supporters as I was reminded once again of what an important part of our ministry this is.
It's such an amazing opportunity to testify of God's glory!!!
Yet, as you can all see, it is something I have shamefully neglected the past few weeks. It is only one of the things I have compromised on a lot and now I am greatful that God has brought me to a kind of pause...
The teams have all been sent off to different assignments in Thailand and Malaysia and I will be staying with our friends here for the next few weeks. We're planning to visit the teams where they are ministering during this time to offer support and encouragement as well as to build further on the relationships with the workers involved.
I am looking forward to a time of
-
catching up on blogs and newsletters;
-
spending quality time ALONE with the Lord;
-
growing in the areas of self-leadership, spiritual disciplines, journaling and disciple-making;
-
contacting with local churches and communities in KL;
-
spending time with our friends here, helping where I can and learning from their wisdom and experiences;
-
working on set-ups for the rest of the year;
-
and also some rest.
So don't be too surprised if you hear a lot more from me. It's time to practice what I preach!!!
