Niger!!

These last three weeks changed my life!! For the first time I really saw where God is busy working!! Just a quick statement; God don't need you and me to do His work, He is busy working from the day of the fall!! That day He started working in the peoples hearts and He is changing them everyday!!

The first village that we visit, we met some new believers and while we were praying for them 3 men just came in. It was muslim men so we were a bit sceptic. The pastor that lives there asked them what they want and they said they are just listening! I had no idea what happened but a few minutes later they gave their hearts to the Lord!! I was stunned!!
God was busy there!!

The next village was a bit more difficult!! There were lots of kids and they all wanted a piece of you!! So everyday there were kids, sitting on your lap, holding your hand!! I realised most of these kids never get a hug or a good word or a friendly smile and we need to be patient and give all the love we have!!

After that we went to the desert to meet the Fulani group, this was my highlight!! The Fulani's live in the desert, they travel from water well to water well to find water for there cattle!! Their sons are their riches, they look after the cattle!! They work from early in the morning till late at night to pull water with their hands for their animals!! There were two Fulani pastors that worked with us, almost seven people gave their hearts to the Lord!!

Aderbissnat: If you enter the town you can feel the absence of the Lord. It's the most dry, hot , dirty town I have ever seen, and we have seen lots of them!! Pastor Jonas, his wife Purity and their three sons welcomed us. That night while we were showing the Jesus film, our team divided into two groups to pray every half hour. We gave that land back to the Lord!! Three Fulani men gave their hearts to the Lord that night!!

Tanout: So many people just arrived from nowhere to be prayed for!! A man with a blind eye got healed, a woman who was possessed was set free by the power of God!! She just repeated the name Jesus over and over, she was so grateful!! So many other testimonies of how God healed them were shared!!

One morning a mother came to us with her 2 year old son. Just looking at him I could see that he is very sick!! We prayed  and prayed and prayed for him. I realised that if God didn't heal that little boy, he will surely die soon. So I trusted God for healing him.

I challenge you to start praying for the sick!! God will not always heal them on the spot and maybe He will use doctors or medicine or maybe He don't heal them, but when someone is sick put your hands on him or her and pray and don't stop praying!! Do this to exalt Him to lift up His name. Faith is to see it happen before it happens!!!
