Best Trade Ever

I am tired of fighting with my flesh! My flesh is so strong. I really understand the verse: The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak - Matt. 26:41. I will sit in a praise and worship session and struggle to get myself to enter into God's presence. I know I want to be there, I know I will meet God there, but it takes so much effort to get there. I am so tired of it! I just want my flesh to die now!

I am tired of failing in laying myself down and keep on serving others. Who am I to stand before God! Every time I have pride I feel God less, and I hear Him less, and I need Him less. How can we lift God high if we do not humble ourselves? How can we serve others if we don't humble ourselves? How can we lay our life down if we don't humble ourselves?

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, Philippians 3:7‭-‬8

I count all things loss, a gain in Christ! Why do I put so much value to the things of the world and to myself? I am nothing!  It's not even a cost to give up, sacrifice and lay down, it's a privilege. What we are giving up is NOTHING for what we get in return. It's like buying into a deal where you know the advantage is yours. It's like giving a fruit skin i  return for a whole fruit tree that will bloom and be fruitful forever and during the whole year.

I am just a little bit of flesh, soul and spirit, yet the Father wants it in return for a relationship with Him through His Son's life!

It's the BEST TRADE EVER!!

God promises that He will take care of us and we will never be in need. Why is it so hard holding on to God's promises?
