Faith and my journey...
What an incredible life journey
Now, I can go on rabbling about how God provided and what we went throught on our Luke 10, otherwise known as n faith journey, but i would much rather share how BIG GOD is and how radical he can be. When we toss away the box we so like to store Him in - "haha what a small box it was".
What was our mission? To travel from one country to the next, live for 10 days and be God's hands and feet on this earth - specifically Singapore and Malaysia at this time.
What we discovered is that when we add ourselves to the mix, it is not all about God. We also walked in our own steps and strength and had the audacity to ask Him to bless us.
It took God 5 days, of us staying on an airport, one night on a park bench and even one night on a side walk with homeless people around us. Before we had nothing left of ourselves, not even the strength to go on.
At this stage we didn't even have the strength to be positive or happy and could only give over to God, throwing away the box we had Him stored in.
THEN God started moving and becoming the radical God we read about - experiencing the love we hear about.
People around us then started seeing God in us because there was nothing left of us.
In this time we were never for one day hungry, we were never thirsty and at the end we had enough finances to supply friends with accomodation and bless the homeless with food.
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?”
Matthew 6:25-27 ESV
All I can say is this was amazing best time so far and I can only thank God for not even my own happines was supplied by me
