Israel! - the promised land

Started off this sweet country by spending 2 nights in the Tel Aviv Airport.
After this we camped beside the Sea of Galilee and karyoke bar ( not really , just felt that way from our lovely neighbours haha)
It was so cool having bible study there, reading about Jesus's life. It kinda made the scriptures more real, seeing and being in the places where Jesus did ministry.

Next we went to Jerusalem. We helped out the church we were staying at by picking their olive trees and cleaning their gardens a bit and lead worship on the Sunday morning service. In our free time we explored the ancient city of Israel ( Old Jerusalem ) and experienced the delish falafels. MmmMm !
As the most visited team of all time, it would only be appropriate to meet someone else here. Guess who...
Nope, not Gerrie! It was our dear friend Reinhardt!
After this we went to Bethlehem. And had the privilege of staying with a couple of Coptic Sisters. Helping them out how ever we could ; from cleaning their garden to building a 10 000 tile mosaic. They have been seriously generous towards us.
We also had the opportunity to see the wall separating Palestine and Israel. Hearing the other side of the story the news doesn't always show. And seeing how Jesus is the only solution to this conflict.

Now we are going to Jordan to hopefully work with Syrian refugees. Please pray for us that we would be protected, provided for, and ministry opportunities to speak hope.

Thanks!

bye.

Wow, what an experience to camp at the Sea of Galilee and know that is where Jesus was. May God continue to protect and supply all your needs as you minister in Jordan. Shalom
