As you might know things have not been going the way "I thought" they should... First of all "I thought" I was supposed to do the Distant Islands journey and it just didn't work out. I Asked the Lord to show me exactly where I should go and what He wanted me to do. After a lot of prayer I knew that I was supposed to join Work Your Way, a journey focused on raising up Godly men and physical labor. My team left in March and I could not join them because I didn't have all my visas or finances. After that "I thought that I should maybe go work on a chokka ship to do some ministry and earn some money but this to did not fall in place...
All the odds have been against me and it seems like this is the time to just give it all up and just go on with my life. Well actually that is exactly what I am going to do. I am going to give up my life into Christ's more then capable hands and give Him a chance to be God. I am trusting Him to do the more then impossible in my life and I have faith that He will never fail. He is the reason that I live and He is my everything. Without Christ I am just a rotting corps.
I am going to join my teammates in May even though this it is impossible and all the odds are counting against me. I don't have any visas in place and I don't have enough finances to to this but my God is the God of the impossible. My God is going to move in ways which none of us can even fathom. My God is almighty and above all.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (Heb 11:1 NIV)
Friends I ask you to stand in faith with me that God will move and do the impossible. I challenge you to trust God for the things in your own life. To have faith in Him and invite Him to be God in your life. To give up and let Him be in complete control.
May God move mightily in your life!
